indonesian's televisions industry

Indonesia’s television industry is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing industries. After 25 years, TVRI formerly the only station to serve all of Indonesians, began to share the atmosphere in 1989 with the country’s first private television company, RCTI. Now there are many private stations in full operation and available in nearly every corner of the archipelago.

The regulations measures taken by the Indonesians government as of 1989 have helped accelerate the development of televiasions as there are now many private national televisions broadcast systems: RCTI, SCTV, TPI, TV ONE, INDOSIAR, TRANS TV, TRANS 7, etc.

The prospects of Indonesian televisions were recently discussed in seminar that focused on television companies, advertising, and programming.
